Emmaline’s Dresses

I made two dresses for Emmaline, my granddaughter, for Christmas. The first dress has a smocked panel of my own design.

The second dress has beading lace as a ruffle and hem with a detachable bow on back.

I made panties that matches both dresses.

Grassy Creek Quilt

 I participated in my first mystery quilt by Bonnie Hunter (Quiltville).

The colors and theme were inspired by fall colors she saw in the southern Virginia mountains where she lives.  Most of the colored fabrics were from my stash.  I had to purchase most of the gray fabrics, the green narrow border, and the backing.

It was pieced in winter 2021 and I had it quilted by Poppy Quilt and Sew in Georgetown, TX.  I plan to use it on my bed in autumn.
