Emma's Quilt

I made this quilt for grandniece Emma Stevenson.   It is twin size, machine pieced and quilted.   Her mother, Tami, asked me to make the quilt to match her baby quilt that I made for her two years ago.
I also made a coordinating quilt for baby sister Claire.  Both girls share the same bedroom.

Emma Joy Stevenson's monogram is centered on
the main panel of the quilt.

Emma's coordinating baby quilt.
Claire's coordinating baby quilt.

The center panel is done in filagree all over design.  The brown border is stitched in the ditch.
The first row of squares is done in half circle arcs and then gentle curves.
The outer row of squares are quilted in a circular design.  The borders are my own quilt designs.

I made a matching pillow case.

The quilting shows up well on the cream on cream printed backing.

The sunlight highlights the quilting motifs.
