Lupine and Laughter

 Lupine and Laughter is the 2025 Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt.  I decided to make this to use up my purple and pink scraps.  I also pieced the backing in order to use up as much purple fabric as I could.

I "frankensteined" the batting as well, so this is truly a scrap quilt.  I quilted it freemotion myself on my Babylock Espire domestic machine using 2 quilt motifs for the 2 blocks and incorporating part of the quilt motif for the middle border.

Kitten in the Corner Flower Garden Quilt

 I sewed this king size quilt (104 X 104) in 2025.  I used scraps from my stash and a light batik as the background fabric.  The quilt was quilted at Poppy's in Georgetown, TX.  It will be on my bed during the Spring months. I used a one piece floral backing for quilt. I am displaying two vintage pillow cases with the quilt on my bed. I now have a winter, spring, and summer quilt for each season.  Next I need to sew a fall theme quilt.  I have been trying to use up my stash as much as possible and so recent quilts have been scrappy.
